A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles

5.0

This book is such a delight. It’s a magnificent story, meant to be savored. Like a nice glass of wine or dram of scotch.

A Gentleman in Moscow will make you feel all kinds of emotions: I laughed, felt shocked, and was nearly put to tears (I’m not really a crier, so “nearly at tears” is pretty sad).

I also really enjoyed the Russian world that Towles transported me to. I don’t know a lot about Russian culture, but I felt like I learned a bit from this.

Definitely recommend this!
