Kalynn Barron is a new favorite author for me after this read.. I originally picked this up because after reading the summary and seeing the cover Briseis resembles my best friend in a lot of ways aside from having two moms lol.. my friends and I decided to read this together but ultimately I finished the book about 2 weeks early. This was such a great read, I couldn’t put it down. By the end, I was ready to fight! I ordered the second book within 2 days. I can’t wait to read the sequel, The Wicked Heart in the new year!
