I enjoyed Lance’s first book on the Hunley and was excited to learn about her new book.
She does an excellent job of situating the reader in time and identifying people as they appear. I recently was annoyed with a nonfiction book where time jumped around a lot and I needed to keep my own timeline. 

She is an author (like Daniel James Brown or Erik Larson) who can write on any topic and I’ll look forward to reading it. Looking forward to her next book!
