This book is a friggin masterpiece.

I read the rest of the series just to get to this book, but I'm not entirely sure you need to. Ember's amnesia sort of guides you through all of the brothers and backstory.

The emotional depths, the authenticity of the pain. The hope, the love. All palpable throughout. The whole thing was devastating and beautiful.
