Shelterbelts by Jonathan Dyck
4.0
Jonathan Dyck's Shelterbelts is a series of interconnected short stories about a small, Mennonite town in Manitoba, whose residents are grappling with social and religious shifts. The art is really clean, delicate and lovely and it's easy to read visually. The story is also interesting but I did sometimes lose track of the large cast of characters and found the dialogue a bit lacking in subtlety and character nuance.
