This is my second favorite book in the series, right after Mercy and Riley's story. I loved Indigo and Drew, their chemistry, the push and pull between them, and the way they navigated the power dynamics in their relationship. Drew gave it his all to convince Indigo that their relationship could work, and I loved that, it made him incredibly swoony.

However, this book didn’t advance the macro-plot as much as others in the series, and we didn’t learn as much about the world in this installment. That’s why it falls short of a five-star rating for me.
