“Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.”

Bonaparte and the middle of the English industrial revolution are the setting of the latest Kingsbridge Novel by Mr. Follett.  The book is great, but not my favorite of the series.  The characters were a little too stock/cliché and the plot felt more a road map from A to B than a story.  Follett does an amazing job of taking broad English history and showing what it looks like on a micro single city view.  Despite all that I would still recommend the book and that is just a testament to how amazing this whole series is.  One of my favorites and I have loved seeing this town grow from book to book.
