The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
3.0
This book started off really strong, it has great humour and I related to Stella straight away. I found her character very enjoyable and loved reading from her POV. As for her love interest Michael, I thought he was a strong MMC and he had a well-developed backstory with his family relationships and financial situation.
I think the author was just overly ambitious with this book and tried to fit too much into it. So for me the book fell off in the last 100 pages and I really didn't enjoy the character arcs and the plotline. After really enjoying the set up I was disappointed with the ending of what could have been a 5 star romance for me.
I have the second book, The Bride Test, in this series of interconnected standalone novels so I will keep it on my TBR but I'm in no rush to pick it up at present.
⭐⭐⭐ 3/5
