WELL FOLX, at this point i think I’d say I’d want to spend my last moments reading cowboy smut because boy oh BOYSIES this was phenomenal

If you haven’t been able to tell from my previous reviews, I am an absolute SLUT for FMCs who are people pleasers & really come into their own over the course of the novel. I loved Summer so much and seeing the people around her encouraging her to find what makes her happy was such a great reading experience.

Rhett and Summer were also the perfect mix of vulnerable and pushy with each other. I loved their banter and the ways they helped each other grow out of the spots they’d been stuck in during their adult lives.

Overall, this was one of the romance subgenres I’ve stayed away from for years but I’m so happy I listened to y’all and dived in because I finished this in less than a day
