I pushed through because people said the series gets better but if the second one is as awful as this one, I’m calling it. The characters are boring, this was basically a beauty and the beast retelling (and I JUST watched B&tB two days ago so it was very fresh in my mind), and I just can’t stand the trope of “I’m just an average girl and now I’m going to save everyone” (except for Katniss, Katniss is the exception)
