The writing in this book is great. I was flipping through the pages wanting to know what would happen. I like that the author had multiple characters who could be possible suspects.
I started the book liking the MC but as the book went on I didn’t understand why she made the choices that she did. I also was not a big fan of the ending
I did not think Zoe fit well as the serial killer. I just didn’t buy it. I also felt like pedophilia was used as shock value and that just doesn’t fly with me.
Also, I wish the MC had come to terms with Persephone. She blamed her the whole book and when it turned out that Sebastian was actually the bad guy, I wish she could have reconciled with Persephone. <\spoiler>
While I wasn’t the biggest fan of this book, it does make me interested in reading the Silent Patient.
