We Solve Murders by Richard Osman
4.0
*somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars*
I liked all of the characters in this, especially the three protagonists and the dynamic between them. While Steve and Amy felt more similar and very British, I liked the contrast with Rosie and how outrageous she was. I’m also really intrigued by Amy’s relationship with her husband and curious to see how it will develop in future sequels.
My issue with this is that I was interested enough in the plot, but I wasn't truly invested because stories about spies, conspiracies, and global criminal networks don't usually appeal to me. They can often feel unrealistic and forced, and that was somewhat the case here. Still, l had a good time reading this and found it entertaining, I just didn't completely love it.
