felt like offing my own head trying to read this. the kitschy unreliable narrator stuff becomes less appealing when you can't for the life of you tell who's POV it is and why you should care. meandered like crazy for the last 100 pages, they really could have been scrapped. this book was like a thorn in my side if the thorn was chronic hemorrhoids.
