Lady Caroline gets asked to dance at a masquerade ball by the man she loves, but Peter does not recognize her. Peter is instantly intrigued by her wit, but she will not tell him her name. When they both return to their homes for the holidays, Caroline realizes she still loves him.

I love historical romance, and Mindy did not disappoint. I love the chemistry between Caroline and Peter. My favorite part was the sledding scene. This is the first book I have read by Mindy, and I cannot wait to read more.
