I read this book over a larger time period. I sometimes read a few stories at a time and sometimes one each time. Some stories were personally more interesting to me than others, and when there was a less interesting story it kind of put me in a reading slump for this book.
I am not too familiar with greek mythology and this was a good introduction to it. It is a not too serious take on greek mythology. Easy to read mythological stories, approached with humour. The first part was a lot of name dropping, which made me feel overwhelmed as I am not too familiar with the names. I understand, though, that it is necessary and the author is explaining everything very well. There are several gods that come back every now and then, and by then I already forgot about them. I would have liked a short explaination as a reminder of the god when they come back in another story, for example in brackets or in the foot note. In some select cases, the author does reminds the reader. But since I think this book is for beginners, I would have liked to see more.
