Was in a historical mood, wanted something with fun fucky vibes. Found this incredibly talky for the first handful of chapters without much sparkle in the dialogue to warrant it, with weird pacing throughout the rest of the book. Enjoyed the main ship for the most part but felt it was somewhat underbaked, with insta-lust giving way to love fairly quickly. A good enough time but I probably wouldn't revisit.
