I call it quits; DNF at 60%

over half way through and we're still not in the competition. nothing is happening except the protagonist mood swings and whining. too many info dumps, the pacing is all over the place and except for the best friend and the love interest all the other side characters are so dull and 2 dimensional they all look the same to me in my head

how did this go from my lost anticipated to my most disappointing reads?
