Wow. Wow. Wow. I am truly blown away. It's a cool early October night and I devoured this book in one sitting. This is *the* perfect book to get you in the mood for autumn. I want hot apple cider and fallen leaves asap. In addition to being beautifully atmospheric, THE MARRIAGE HEX is a true testament to love and friendship. There's a lot that takes place in this story, but at its heart is the unbreakable friendship between Violet, Ember, & Iris, and love between Violet & Silas.

There's so much packed into this first book, it would take multiple pages to lay it all out! This rich world is primed for more stories and I can't wait to see whose we get next. I could honestly see Violet's story being told across multiple seasons of television. Please pick this up asap, Netflix! I know the TVD and Twilight girlies would eat this UP.

The love between Violet and Silas is so instinctual. The adoration and care between them is palpable. I don't know how Sarah Blue managed it, but there are two sequential chapters that contain some of the hottest and most romantic scenes ever, and they happen simultaneously. Reading them falling in love was like snuggling under a warm blanket, and I don't want to leave! There was something so comforting about the two of them being together and taking on their family legacies as one that was just comforting. I don't know how else to explain it. I truly cannot wait for more of these characters.

Some of My Favorite Quotes *slight spoilers:

- “I’d be the best husband, and you know it. We’d be one of those couples who wants to spend all of our time together. You wouldn’t be able to resist me. Honestly, the more I think about it, the sillier this pact is, because I think I’m going to convince you to marry me well before than anyway, Violet.”
-The wolf presses further into my hand, like my touch is something to be cherished.
-I’ll take whatever little she gives me. If my purpose in her life is to just surround her in her sleep so that she’s safe, it would be my honor.
-She’s mine to protect, mine to care for, mine to adore.
-“I fear I want to f*** my husband.”
-“...you’re going to stay my wife, because you know you want to. Nothing has ever felt as good as this, nothing has ever felt more right.”
-“There could never be anyone else. All my life it’s been you, Vi.”
-“Because you’re my mate, my wife, my fucking everything, Vi. I would do anything to keep you safe, to protect you.
-“I loved you when I didn’t have a wolf present, and I’ll love you till the day that I die, Vi,” I tell her softly.
-It’s clear in this monumental moment that until right now, I never knew this kind of cosmic love existed. But now that I do, I’ll never let it go.
