Siren Queen by Nghi Vo
5.0
Sometimes it's about the journey, not the destination.
I adored the mix of magical and historical in this novel, Nghi Vo expertly weaves together the fantastic and the faerie with the golden age of Hollywood with her captivating prose. Unfortunately for me, the ending didn't quite land, it felt a little... abrupt (and confusing), but that doesn't detract from the wonderful story that preceded it.
