Soooo yes, I read the Part of Your World trilogy backwards- but Abby says they can be read as standalones, so it’s fine- and what a journey!

I feel like I did get a little frustrated by the way Alexis kept treating Daniel and the way she insisted on shoving him away (oh, he’s too young for me! oh, I can’t stand up to my retired millionaire doctor parents!) but their meet-cute and the way they understand each other? Perfect.

This is the heaviest book in the trilogy, in my opinion, dealing with abusive relationships. Book two, Yours Truly, covers anxiety, and I believe it was PTSD in Just For The Summer? You can tell how much research Abby puts into each of these, and she takes great care to tell you WHY she wrote about the subjects she chose.
