Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance by Ruth Emmie Lang
5.0
This is my second read-through of Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance and I loved it as much as I did the first time I read it. It's a cozy fantasy and a beautiful love story wrapped up with one of my favorite tropes- found family!
Weylyn is a little... odd, but there is something about him that pulls otherwise entirely ordinary people into his orbit, forever changing them and their view of life and the world around them. Weylyn is an orphan raised by wolves and creates his own patchwork family along the way as he ventures through life. Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance is told almost entirely by those who are drawn into Weylyn's life. It's a tale of family, belonging, and love.
The best book to pick up if you need a new comfort read!
