I expected this to be typical 80s commercial trash horror (for which I was in the mood) but it's something else. It's completely bonkers. It's like some lost piece of 1930s modernism meeting Stephen King at his most coked-out (like Cujo, it is not divided into chapters). Recommended if you like to chop.
