This was my first ever Emily Henry book and I do understand why these are so popular. The writing is good, there’s a lot of nice messages hidden throughout the book that I enjoyed, and overall it was enjoyable. I found it so be somewhat bland though, like exactly what I expect from contemporary hetero romance and nothing more. I’ll probably read another of her books just to see, but I think this is more of a “it’s me, not you” problem
