I read a lot of dark romance, a lot of super spicy contemporary romances, and I just have to say! This Romantasy was a refreshing distraction from those for a time. 𝙷𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚊𝚑 𝙻𝚎𝚟𝚒𝚗 has a great talent and really captured me with her characters & story line. 

I enjoyed the story line for this one because introduces an aspect of the human world knowing about the Fae. I enjoyed how Avery is a chosen human who has the ability to Heal. When she travels to through the veil to the Fae world, she meets the best cinnamon roll Hero, Riel. 

The interactions between them are so swoonworthy! The sparks of attraction are evident when they are together, slow building to a burn of yearning between them! The banter between the characters is fun and I found myself chuckling as I listened to their story unfold. 

𝑀𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑒 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑘 is a new to me narrator and she was talented! Her voice was smooth and she did a wonderful job with the voices of each character. I am adding her to my list of must listen narrators! 

Add into the world of fae and fun, tensions between the Fae & Human worlds & the perfect amount of spice, and this was a quick, captivating read! I am very much looking forward to more in this series.
