The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman

5.0

Aaaaaah. Nina. You gem. I very much related to Nina as a 33 year old single woman with a cat, haha. I used to work at Barnes & Noble years ago also, so I related there. Meeting a man from a rival trivia team and him being so persistent in his pursuit was a dream. The story line with her new family was great, as I live in a state with no family members and I’d love to inherit a fabulous gay cousin or any number of her new relatives. The way her dad left her her portion was so sweet, and I just loved the HEA, even if the third-act breakup was a bit unnecessary. But I kind of think they always are, haha.
