The Book Swap by Tessa Bickers

4.0

So this was an incredibly cute concept. For the classic novel readers (To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Great Escape, and Jane Austen to name a few) this one is for you! This story is a second chance romance with a slow burn that will almost torment you!! Miss Bickers touches on grief and healing beautifully and her main characters both have amazing developments.

Erin is miserable since the passing of her best friend, Bonnie. She quits her job and begins trying to find her happiness, starting with declutterring her room. When one of her beloved books accidentally gets taken to a little community library, she’s distraught. That is until James not only returns her book, but replies in the margins to her notes. As the weeks go on she falls in love with this mystery man through their favorite literatures. That is until she realizes she has a past with the mystery man. Can she forgive James? Bless you better hope so!

Overall I loved this and will never look at a little library the same after reading this one!!
