I wanted to like this more than I did. Some of the stories were interesting and I appreciated the perspective of the characters, but I just did not get into it. When it was presented to me by a friend, I was told that it made her laugh audibly several times and I did not feel that way once while reading. It actually made me quite sad and I'm sure that had something to do with the impression the book made on me.

EDIT: As it turns out, I don't listen well and my friend was describing a different Miranda July book, so I tainted my own experience. Rating stands, though!
