I was really excited to read from Nesbø since they are hyped a lot, but my expectations were not met.

It has some interesting plot points and is informative at times, but I think it drags on too long with too many plot twists. Features the typical detective novel tropes: policeman drinking, troubled past, bad reputation, etc.

The descriptions were pretty good to and the author managed to convey the bleakness of a scandinavian winter well.

After the 3rd suspect turning out not being the Snowman I was getting rather bored with it.  Like please, it's not getting more and more tense, but annoying.
