When Daphne is dumped by her fiancé the night after his bachelor party you could forgive her for feeling rather blindsided. Even more so when she learns that he’s called off their marriage so he can get together with his childhood best friend, Petra. What nobody expects is for Daphne to move into the apartment of Miles, Petra’s ex-fiancé.
Before we know it, Daphne and Miles are spinning a bizarre rumour that they are now a couple. As they spend time together, healing from their respective break-ups, the pair clearly show signs of becoming a little more serious about each other than they might have predicted.
It’s not hard to develop a soft spot for these two. Completely done over by people who should want to behave better we’re rooting for them from the outset. As they navigate their new normal it becomes more and more evident that what starts out as a funny story is fast becoming a romance.
