I enjoyed this book, the ending was predictable for the overall. I was disappointed in the ending for Mare but not too much because she did the “responsible” thing. I really felt for Maven. I could not imagine a worse life then not being able to trust your own mind after having someone that’s supposed to protect you destroy you. And Evangeline, wow, no way would I have thought that I would come to like and respect her as I did in this book.
