Natasha is hours away from being sent back to Jamaica where she was born. She is an undocumented immigrant. Daniel is going to an interview for a college he doesn’t want to go to for a future he doesn’t want to have. They meet on their way to fulfill their duties. This is the beginning of a wonderful friendship. Or is it more than that?


I fell in love with this book from the beginning. I loved the writing. It was so lyrical and relatable. I also loved the plot. It kept me guessing the whole time. I loved the characters too. They were very relatable and imperfect in a good way.
