Spider-Man is huge with kids right now, and that includes relatively new Spidey Miles Morales. It was great to see Miles get to shine as more than just Spidey in this book. Millner highlights Miles’ often overlooked Puerto Rican heritage and teaches readers about the culture and history. I also love the intergenerational aspect of the story. Rodriguez’s illustrations bring life to the art that’s a cornerstone of the novel. The way she draws characters makes them seem friendly and approachable.
