Sunny was different than the first two (Ghost and Patina). The diary format threw me off and the singsong rhythmatic words, but the book grew on me and by the end, I can say that this was more than Jason Reynolds showing off his skill to capture another style. Sunny's story was told through his writings in his spiral notebook diary. Lu is up next!
