I don't usually read graphic novels, but I love a prequel and I love Leigh Bardugo. This had a lot of depth and I really enjoyed the story through both the words and the images. I loved getting some extra insight into the Darkling's past and I thought this was a great way to do it. I thought the characters from the past were integral and quite interesting. This was a fun one and I liked how quick it was to read.
