This book will make you feel everything!!! There is heartbreak, sacrifice, lust, spice and of course love. This book is the second in the American Queen series- read that first as this one picks up right where the first one ended. This book is mostly the backstory of Embry. The relationship between Embry and Ash and then his meeting and relationship with Greer. The characters continue to grow their story revolving and I just have so much love for each of them however, I really like Embry. His character is so complex- there’s a dark side but a sweet side you can’t help but love. Sierra Simone has a great way of writing this complex love story that will just leave you with all the feels.
