5 stars for nostalgias sake, I really loved this series when I was younger and it holds up as well as you'd expect for something written in its time.
The typos still bother me to the shithouse, and the plot holes aren't in any way small but knowing that they're mostly answered later on brings me solace.
It does pain me that Mina is such a pick me (sorry but there's no other way to explain it) to all the guys in her life (eg. taking "you're not like other girls" in the "wrong way" one moment, then being fine when the main love interest expresses his interest of "his true self being seen" by her) but also never wanting to be seen or acknowledged by anyone ever and wearing only wearing zip up hoodies, jeans, and converse like a reoccurring character in an anime.....
Also it's so old and dated..... Nan wearing 2 longline t-shirts..... Candy Apple LG touchscreen phone .... Twitter being widely used in the Kevin Rudd to 50 Cent context ("I found you in my back pocket haha").....

I can write literal essays about this book so I'll leave this relic here
