Collision of Lies is a clean Christian mystery well-written by author Tom Threadgill. It is installment #1 of the Amara Alvarez series.
Was it too much to ask the couple to keep their personal matters private? It was Detective Amara’s day off, so how did she get involved in a case with a dead son? However, is he really dead? His mother thinks he is still alive and he is the one who sent the message. It has been three years, could he still be alive?
Amara had dreams of transferring to Homicide, Special Victims, or Narcotics. But, first, she needs to find out why bus driver Bradley Gingham drove a busload of children into the path of an oncoming freight train.
If the reader likes mystery, suspense, and maybe a little Downton Abbey they are sure to like Collision of Lies. I give collision of Lies 5*/5*.
