Miss Sin by S.J. Tilly
3.0
Book number 3 of the Sin Series by S.J. Tilly and unfortunately we haven't ended on a great story. Whilst I was interested in John's backstory, I don't think it fits in with the Sin series. What made the first two books great was the focus on the Mazzanti family and the dangerous, sinful image of their family. I just didn't think this gelled with Special Agent John Clark, even though he is a definite alpha male and just as possessive and territorial as Vincent and Angelo.
Going into the book I thought it would be about his relationship with Dell, a mafia princess, but that was all in the past. Kind of. I was a bit let down by this because I think it would have improved the story somewhat but getting to know Nora, I completely understood her character. I was rooting for their relationship to go the distance like his sister Sasha and Vincent's relationship.
Again, the spice in the book was undeniably good, I love Tilly's style throughout all 3 books.
The book gets a solid 3/5 stars from me, I definitely enjoyed book #1 and #2 more but this was a great opportunity to get to know John more.
3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
