One Life by Emma Brockes, Megan Rapinoe

5.0

I am giving this book 5 stars, not so much because it is well-written as because this woman is amazing and her courage in standing up for LGBT rights, and black lives matter, and pay equity for women in sports gave me chills. She's an inspiration. Her story is simply told and classy. She doesn't dish on other people or blame others for difficulties, she gives thanks to those who helped her get where she is, and she's not shy about taking the credit for her amazing accomplishments. There is no feigned modesty here. Her fame is well deserved and she is using that fame for good.
