I'm obsessed. I couldn't put down this book. I adore Asher so much. And Geoff? yes please. Look, the premise alone had me dropping my entire TBR to pick this up. A cop responding to a domestic violence call only to fall in love with the hockey player victim? I don't need to say any more. These sad, sweet men were perfect. Their love story was adorable and so sweet and had so many issues they worked through. I loved how Geoff was there for Asher as he left his abusive ex. I love how Asher slowly grew into his own and could ask for what he wanted and felt safe with Geoff. I love how the team rallied behind Asher like a brother. I. love. this. book. What I didn't 100% love was how wishy washy Geoff was. I get his struggles with his kids and his abusive ex, but come on man. *spoiler alert* I wanted like one less back and forth (yeah I know there were only like two) and I wanted him to figure his shit out himself. However, all in all, I am still obsessed and would recommend this to anyone. 2/5 spice levels.
