Intriguing, especially for Cronenberg fans, but ultimately it wore out its welcome through the 2nd half and the ending didn't have the impact that the early part of the book did.
It was gross and disgusting and it was odd to discover that I wasn't offended or repulsed by it. It may have been because of the way it was written, as I was more repulsed and disgusted by Tender is the Flesh.
Interesting book.
