888 Love and the Divine Burden of Numbers by Abraham Chang

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
Everyone is very quirky and full of quips, that they shoot off AT each other, rather than having an actual conversation. Add in that these conversations happen in between long list of pop culture references from the 80s and 90s, and the occasional second person chapter about "your" experiences, and it feels very high style above all else. There are glimmers of substance, but it reminds me a bit too much of that era of 90s films where the goal was to have the most meme-able lines that maniac pixie dream girls and boys rapid fire say to each other.

It's just not for me.
