absolute magic of a book!
i'm saying this from a gamer's perspective but this book! oh my god! it was literally perfect for my liking! i love every single part of it - storyline, character development!!!!!, everything. i cried, I laughed, I grieved, I cheered on the characters, it was amazing!
the writing style of this book was so enchanting, I couldn't stop reading it and was afraid I'd be done way too fast. I'm bewildered about how much growth the characters went through, I rarely see books where that happens.
i loved it. i hate myself for finishing it so quickly. i am simply a shell of a person. you must be an absolute genius of a person to create such a piece. seriously!

it's still one of the greatest, most entertaining books I've read. so fucking good. i didn't cry this time but fucking hell, I knew what will happen and still read it with so much enthusiasm. it's just so perfect for me! i'd never stop bragging about this book, it's probably my most favourite one ever since i've started this reading journey.
honestly, reading it a second time now I have to ask: what kind of magical brain do you have to have to think of so many game storylines and the whole book and to link all that into one? you really must be a freaking genius! it takes so much to think of one game idea and for miss Zevin to think of 5-6!!!! maybe they are all pull-offs or copy ideas from already existing games but what the hell, this book is so good.
i love the character development too! it's such a refreshing thing to see. especially the part at the end whereyou don't see Sadie and Sam actually getting together. the fact that Sadie told him that she'd always been together with him and explained how important their friendship/relationship is... it was something that hit home but I didn't like it only because of that. it's so rare to have such creative relationships and honestly losing such one is one of the worst heartbreaks one can experience especially for a creative person.
overall, I don't think my opinion on this book has changed all that much. it's just proven me how great of a book it is and I needed the comfort I felt even the first time I got to read it. i will come back to it in the future, 100%.
