I think these are some of the most ANNOYING characters I've ever read !!
Kat :
- is a virgin (and it seemed like she's completly defined by her virginity ...)
- cried the 3/4 of the book for every and anything (okay I understood when someone she loved died but she's supposed to be a journalist and she cried at the first little threat !!)
- everyone is trying to kill her and she had the survival instinct of a mussel in a pressure cooker
Gabe :
- wants to sleep with Kate but sex is baaaaaaaad / eviiiiiil / how can he even think about it / ohhh the big bad villain he looked at her boobs !!
- basically, he's useless
What a shame because the story was really interesting and I loved reading all these detailed references to Native American culture !!
In short, a HUGE disappointment compared to the previous books ...
