I haven’t had this much fun reading something in a long time, so much that I’ve read it twice already. Real Hero Shit is funny and delightfully queer - my favorite part is when Eugene, the prince, is quick to shut down the idea he wouldn’t respect someone’s neopronouns and is seen practicing using them to make sure he gets them right, something the others are shocked to see him do. His various relationships with the others are also a treat - his hero worshipping of Hocus and his bickering (among other things) with Ani were highlights.
