Prince of Darkness by Amber Thoma

3.0

The good:
The story is very interesting. The way the fae realms are layer out and explained is very traditional. And I enjoyed the addition of witches to the lore. I also really liked how the romance played out. The most touching moments were the little romantic actions the prince of the night court made towards his mate.

The bad:
I did not enjoy the writing. It felt very explanatory and like I was reading a report instead of a story sometimes. Like I was being told every single thought and feeling instead of just feeling it with the characters. At the beginning, it was also very hard to tell the difference in the characters. Anin and Etain, Kes and Ciaran, they felt like the same people. And since the writing style was the same for every single point of view, it made it even harder.

Also I just did not like Kes.
