BRB while I go grab another box of tissues.
This book was everything I’ve come to expect from TJR. Being Hispanic myself, I couldn’t get enough of the Spanglish and underlying cultural nuances. This is probably one of my favorite representations of a father/daughter relationship I’ve see in a long time in books. Everyone in this book has messed up big in life but it’s folks just trying to make it right. I’m not even a major tennis fan and I devoured this book. Well done. A million stars.
