Foundation and Empire by Isaac Asimov

5.0

During the first half, I was struggling to continue. Asimov had continued his same epoch style, keeping me from being able to attach to a character or characters. The second half crystallizes into one era, and I was able to settle in with some characters. It IS a shame that he never embraced the use of multilayered female characters. Still, his far-reaching epic, across so many generations is a very worthy read. Looking forward to getting “Second Foundation” from the library.
