There were a few things I liked about how this book wrapped up the trilogy. But overall, the trilogy really just didn't meet my expectations of what everyone has hyped it up to be. I found it disappointing, and I didn't like how superficial and simple Zhan's prose felt in comparison to his newer works. This series unfortunately just didn't click for me.
