the way i TOTALLY related to sadie wen, not with the pathological people pleaser thing, but with the fact that she just absorbs everything that is being thrown at her; may it be stress, responsibility, the weight of inconsiderate classmates, etc. it is also saddening how, like me, she basically HAD TO grow up fast and not enjoy her teen years. when i read that scene, it reminded me of how alice sun can relate to that. they both are just a kid, after all.

while sadie is the one who puts pressure to herself, however, julius gong is not like that. he may appear so well-clothed, prepared, and unfazed by sadie but he would do anything for her as well. they both are so different from each other yet so alike. no joke, their chemistry is undeniably good.

yep, they're both obsessed with each other. i hope this finds them & ann liang well. i loved them so much!
